It's always great when you can dress up like a complete jackass and get away with acting like a complete jackass! Well that is exactly how the Starfucker halloween show was.
Starfucker is one of Portlands most prolific electro/indie/pop bands, and boy do they deserve it. Starfucker took the stage around 11:30 PM, dress up as characters from the show Star Trek: Next Generation. Then the music and dance began. There was Gandalf the grey crowd surfing and a group of robots dancing an erotic waltz for their pleasure. Starfucker played a show where everyone was dancing, even the cool kids who wouldn't dress up on halloween were dancing! Now that's a show.
This was of course Starfucker's last show under their name, they are now Pyramiddd (yes with three D's). Starfucker's played a wonderful show with a load of enthusiasm!
I will like to note one thing before summing up this experience I had! The band that played directly before Starfucker was Deelay Ceelay, a band with two drummers and a movie. A very fun and energetic band with fantastic remixes. This band has a free "Thank You" EP on their website for the high price of Free! So go ahead and check them out! They're pretty fun and fresh as the kids say!
